Travelling Australia - Journal 2015c

10-13 July 2015

Our few days in Echuca was dominated by the weather. The day after we arrived an outbreak of very cold polar air swept across Victoria and south-east Australia. The overnight minimum we recorded of 5° C was not as cold as we had got used to at Mildura where we recorded 2° C for two nights running but the days in Echuca were cloudy with a bitterly cold wind and if it wasn't raining it had been recently and soon would be again.

We didn't go out much although a couple of trips were made to an excellent fish and chip shop in the historial precinct.
