Travelling Australia - Journal 2008b
30 July 2008 - North Haven to Casino
Location map A clear day, bright sun, cool to cold breeze for the final day of our trip. Traffic was very light on the Pacific Highway as we made our way north past the Port Macquarie turn-off, then through the middle of Kempsey and Coffs Harbour. There is a lot of roadworks in progress along this part of the highway with 40 and 60 kph often the works speed limit.

Traffic remained very light while we were on the Pacific Highway; the roadhouse at Halfway Creek between Coffs Harbour and Grafton where we usually refuel and have lunch had one vehicle refuelling when we arrived; usually I expect to have to wait for my preferred bowser which is easier to leave towing the caravan than the others. On the Summerland Highway between Grafton and Casino there was hardly any traffic at all, but that is pretty usual for that road. Weather remained good.

On arrival at Casino Village we retrieved mail from the office, drove to our house and reversed neatly onto the caravan's spot. The trip for Jun-Jul 2008 had ended.
