|2-7 June 2008 - Dandenong
Weather during our stay in Dandenong was generally cold, with several days of fog and other days with a bitterly cold
wind. The cold eased a little at the end of the visit and we had a few hours of sunshine on the last couple of days.
My mother was buried on 3 June at Cheltenham Cemetery on a cold, sombre day which didn't quite produce rain. After the
funeral the family gathered at Sandringham Hotel for a family lunch.
During the rest of the stay in Melbourne we visited relatives and friends. We also took the opportunity of access to
larger shops to chase up some particular items for the house we had been seeking for some time.
