Swan Hill railway station. The railway line reached Swan Hill in 1890 from Bendigo. The line was extended to Piangil, 46 kilometres north-west of Swan HIll, in 1915. Swan Hill is now the terminus for passenger trains from Melbourne, passengers for Mildura continue by bus. The station also contains a goods yard and grain silo. Grain trains operated by Pacific National run through the station enroute to Piangil. The grain trucks on the left are probably being held ready for next grain transport season.
