West from Mount Batterbee towards a linear outcrop. A public access road runs from the Arckaringa-Oodnadatta Road part way up this outcrop ending at a walking track up Mt Arckaringa. In the foreground the access road to Oodnadatta runs past patches of broken brown stone residue of the original silcrete layer. The pointed hill on the left is shown closer in the previous photograph.
